The M07 Range Puukko is a trusted tool for wilderness.
Ranger Puukko’s blade is crafted at the workshop of Laurin Metalli Oy in Kauhava, Finland. The knife’s blade is made of a coated 80CrV2 carbon steel. PTFE (Teflon) coating protects the otherwise rust-prone carbon steel from corrosion and reduces friction and the adhesion of dirt. This coating also meets the requirements for food safety certification. The blade withstands rigorous use and can be easily sharpened again when needed.
The feel of the TPE handle (thermoplastic elastomer) is quite rubber-like. The material is practically indestructible, enduring wear and tear, impacts, chemicals, as well as changes in weather and temperature. Additionally, it has excellent recyclability properties. Special attention has been given to the design and texture of the handle. It maintains its grip even with wet hands and holds its ground in all conditions.
One of the absolute strengths of the Ranger Puukko lies in its innovative sheath solution, the EasyLock locking system. Thanks to the locking mechanism, the knife remains securely in place, and the sheath does not loosen with use. However, the knife can be quickly drawn when needed, even with just one hand. The Velcro-secured belt loop, compatible with MOLLE systems, allows for upside down carry, for example, on a backpack, vest or a shoulder strap. It adapts seamlessly to both right- and left-handed users.
